How long does it usually take to get the audio?

That question is usually depending on the amount of audio needed, and the overall genre that the game is going for. If you are looking for jazz, it's gonna take longer than techno. Here is a simple chart you can use for quick reference.

Music+SFX

(1-4 Tracks+20 SFX = 1-2 Weeks)

(5-9 Tracks+50 SFX = 2-3 Weeks)

(10< Tracks+100 SFX= Month or more)

Just SFX

(1-30 SFX = 1 Week)

(30-80 SFX = 2 Weeks)

(80-120 SFX = 3 Weeks)

(120< = Month or More)

Do you need any code to make the audio?

Some teams have been very nervous about giving their code to me to see the game. If this is the case, then in order to most effectively get you the assets, I will need as many videos, and screenshots as you can get me. The more the better, to let me quickly immerse myself into the gameplay. Also if you need a large amount of Sound FX, then it can help me a lot if you complete an Asset List.

What Audio Engines can you work with?

I've worked with most of the majors, Including F-Mod, Wwise, Xact, X-Audio, Open-AL, and a few proprietary engines. Although i've done some training on coding for a few of these engines. I am not able to do any coding for you -sorry- . Strictly designers, or just raw files.

Do you do Trailers?

Yes, I can do free audio for game trailers, including music, and audio-post for sound effects (if there are cinemas), the process takes quite a bit of time, and you may have to add a week or two on to the timeframe for your game audio.

>>> If you need the trailer done quickly, then I can focus just on the trailer, but wont have time to produce any music or sfx for the game during that timeframe. My suggestion is if you know you are going to produce a trailer, then plan for that well in advance, and keep me informed.

>>> So far I have loved most of the trailers that I have done, so don't feel pressured by asking. (Please keep the trailers under 4 mins, sorry I don't do any video work just Audio. I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and or Adobe After effects )
